The Faith Tabernacle Community Church Inc. of Clayton, New Jersey journey began on August 5, 2001 in the Clayton Ambulance Hall with a handful of members.  We held only one service in the Ambulance Hall then God moved us to the Clayton Fire Hall.

In November, of 2003 the members of Faith Tabernacle acquired 10 acres of land of which 4 ½ acres were donated, purchased a 15 passenger van and the building on the property at 962 North Delsea Drive which is totally renovated.  All of these accomplishments were made possible by the help of the Lord and through tithes and offerings.

Ministry to the local community is one of the main missions of our church.  We provide holiday baskets, support graduates with books and school supplies, help local families who need assistance to heat their home or pay their rent.

Our purpose is to build up the body of Christ through local discipleship, national partnerships and international support of indigenous mission activity.  To name a few we have supported Haiti, Africa, and China.

Faith Tabernacle is committed to growing the church to “CHANGING THE WORLD ONE LIFE AT A TIME”.  This includes local and global ministry.

In October 2005, Elder Pritchett took a trip to Georgia to aid the victims of hurricane Katrina.  Pastor made a petition to the church for help:  the people came together and supported the cause.  We used our church property as a drop off point for donated items.  They drove a large truck and van filled to the capacity with donated items.  Thank God for the support of the members and the community.

December 2005 Faith Tabernacle took another trip.  The pastor’s vision was “Christmas Express” to St. Joseph Louisiana to aid the victims of hurricane Katrina and Rita.  The church property became a drop off center for unwrapped toys.  Once again, “Christmas Express” was driven to the community of St. Joseph Louisiana.  The Mayor of St. Joseph, Louisiana has officially declared December 15 Faith Tabernacle Community Church Day.

On June 10, 2006, we held our groundbreaking ceremony on our church property.  It was a momentous occasion celebrated by faithful members who stuck with and supported the vision.  Also in attendance was Christian family and friends who can all testify that only God can do this…only God could do this.  A community gathering in Christ and ministering as God leads.
